Armagh & Monaghan Beekeepers

Supporting beekeepers across Armagh and Monaghan with training, community, and seasonal updates.

Our beekeeping association was established to serve as a resource to local beekeepers thjroughout the Armagh and Monaghan areas. The aim is to educate club members and the wider community about the science, art, and benefits of beekeeping, and to enable communication and co-operation between beekeepers and the community. We warmly welcome beekeepers and anyone interested in honeybees and beekeeping.

Why Join AMBKA?

It's fun! Also, we're a wonderful resource for beekeepers. We provide education and mentoring to new and advanced beekeepers alike year-round through monthly meetings.

During the warmer months we meet and do demonstrations at our club apiary. When the bees are having a rest, we have speakers visit to present various bee-adjacent topics from fencing to pollinator friendly landscapes and varroa mite controls. We offer swarm retrieval, and more!
